These evaluations are positive in reinforcement to help your child’s progression. In addition, they provide you, the parent, with tools and understanding of our school’s procedures, rules and regulations. TESTING Our last test was an excellent example of students being prepared. No one should test unless he/she thoroughly understands the curriculum, has the required number of classes in, fulfills all requirements including assisting in class for high belts. There is an approximate minimum time frame between belts. This will be posted on the bulletin board. Within the time frame, you must have attended 8 classes per month, and for children, two sparring classes. MARK YOUR CARDS! Be sure that you mark your cards each and every class. Please note: Assistant Instructors will help the children to pull their cards before class. If you have not pulled your card prior to the start of class, pull it out after class before you leave. Mrs. Ameris will mark the cards at the end of each night The box is always available in the office to pull your card if you forgot earlier that evening. Brown, Red, Black Belts Assistant Instructing It is a part of the required curriculum that high belt students assist with class. With the number of high belt students we have, one class per month is all we are asking each high belt student to commit to. We sincerely appreciate all the help we get from all of our students, however, when students lower than brown belt and above assist with class, many high belts feel they do not need to come in to assist To get our brown, red, and black belts active and assisting with teaching, we are asking all students below brown belt level not to assist with class, in so that higher belts can fulfill their requirements. To Teach is To Learn By teaching, you will have a clearer and better understanding of the curriculum and the art of Tae Kwon Do. Please sign up in Mrs. Ameris’ office for your commitment to one class per month. This is mandatory for your higher belt requirements. Please take this seriously. Please note - to obtain a complete edition of our April newsletter, please see Mrs. Ameris. Our complete newsletter is only available to Cho's Taekwondo members. Thank you!
